The Origin8 Delicafe is beautifully situated in St. Andrew's St., Cambridge, near the Christ's Lane Development and opposite the main entrance to the city's Grand Arcade.
In our Delicafe we offer a unique combination - acting as a showcase on the high street, for small local suppliers from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk and as a cafe offering customers the convenience of buying and tasting the products for themselves.
Our chef uses cuts of meat from our locally-reared animals, to create memorably tasty hot meals such as:
- Individual Beef and Ale pie
Our soups include:
- Carrot and coriander
- Tomato, bacon and lentil
- Binham Blue cheese and broccoli
We are well known for our:
- Hog roast - locally-reared pork which is served hot in a generous roll, with stuffing, crackling and apple sauce
- Sausage rolls - larger than the average sausage roll, ours are made from rarebreeds pork and baked in flaky puff pastry. A meal in itself.
All our hot and cold food is designed to be eaten-in, or can be boxed to take away.
